VOLUNTEER EVENT: MHC REAL Leaders Help Distribute Over 800 Thanksgiving Meal Boxes

Our MHC REAL Leaders had the pleasure of volunteering for the fifth time at the Urban League of Palm Beach County’s Thanksgiving Meal Giveaway. The Urban League of Palm Beach County has been the leading provider of comprehensive family services to over 16,000 disadvantaged families in our community each year. Their clients live below the poverty line and in under-served and challenged areas throughout Palm Beach County.

Through sponsorship and volunteer efforts they distribute Thanksgiving meal boxes that include everything a family needs to have a happy and healthy holiday. Our social service team was in charge of unloading the turkeys, packaging them into bags and handing them out to families. When the team started to arrive around 7AM there was already a line of appreciative families waiting outside of the location and a steady stream continued until the last turkey was passed out to the 800th family.

NAI/Merin Hunter Codman volunteers were thrilled to spend time together giving back to our local community. In addition to our in-kind donation, Jordan Paul, CEO of NAI/Merin Hunter Codman also spearheads a monetary collection on behalf of the firm, its clients and vendors.
