Supporting Education & Community: Packing Backpacks for Students in Need
At NAI/Merin Hunter Codman, we believe in the power of education and the importance of supporting our community. On Friday July 12th, our MHC REAL Leaders had the privilege of volunteering with the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County’s Red Apple Supplies program to pack backpacks for children in need.

A backpack full of school supplies can significantly impact a student’s educational success and personal development. For many of our highest-need students, not having basic supplies like notebooks, pencils, and textbooks can be daunting and demotivating. By providing fully stocked backpacks, we level the playing field, ensuring that all students have the essential tools to participate fully in their education. This simple gesture can ignite a passion for learning, foster resilience, and pave the way for a brighter future.
The morning was filled with laughs, good tunes, and a little elbow grease as we worked to assemble 500 backpacks, contributing to the Education Foundation’s goal of 25,000 backpacks for this new school year. We are incredibly grateful to our REAL Leaders for their dedication and hard work in this effort.

A special thanks to our CEO, Jordan Paul, who has been on the board since its inception and has a deep commitment to this cause. Public education is where future generations are learning and growing, and they deserve to have the necessary supplies and advocacy.
